Czech Chernobyl

Liberecký kraj, Česká Lípa,

They call it the Czech Chernobyl. We call it a ghost town with its own story. A city that was supposed to be alive, but today it's just shadows and concrete. The heart of a former military area where Russian sounds more often than Czech. The Soviet army lived its own life here, but after 1991 it left everything to time.
Today, you'll find empty houses overgrown with greenery. The silence is occasionally broken by the wind or a rustle... or just your own footsteps. It's not Chernobyl, but the atmosphere will engulf you just as quickly.
