"Czech Pripyat" there are prefabricated buildings, school, railway bridge and last but not least the airport.Everything is thoroughly guarded by MP from which we even had to hide once.

Would another Pripyat be okay?
It definitely won't :)
That's probably it. A small opening to get inside. Thanks.
Yes, that’s definitely the place. I’ll be really looking forward to it if you go there and then post some photos—it’s a truly “renowned” spot, and I personally hope I’ll be able to go there next summer, too. There used to be a very beautiful abandoned factory not far from the shelter; unfortunately, the city decided to tear it down, thereby “ruining” what was a truly fascinating spot. However, there are still plenty of abandoned apartment buildings and structures near the shelter (Vrchbělá)—I recommend visiting them as well if you happen to be in the area.
There's a nuclear weapons bunker somewhere in the area; as far as I know, one of them is buried, and I still can't figure out where it might be, but this location could be a clue. Ralsko is very large.
Are you talking about this? https://mapy.cz/zakladni?x=14.8040391&y=50.5376545&z=17&base=ophoto&source=base&id=2102862
Hello. I have some photos of the Czech Pripyat here: https://kodiak66.rajce.idnes.cz/byvaly_vojensky_vycvikovy_prostor/1465791902
Wow, thanks for the link—unfortunately, we didn’t make it to those exact spots, whether due to equipment issues or time constraints. Otherwise, the photo album is really well done; if you didn’t know better, you’d really think it was from Pripyat :D.The next event we have planned will be a bit more complicated to pull off, but nothing impossible. We plan to get into an unnamed elementary school where I found an unlocked “emergency exit”—it actually has a civil defense shelter underneath it that was built along with the school in the 1980s.However, the school is connected to the municipal police’s central security console, so we’ll have to disconnect or bypass it temporarily somehow. Of course, we’ll document everything, and even if we end up at the pressure-sealed door of the emergency exit, I’ll try to post it here.
That's absolutely awesome!
Thank you—we were there this past Monday, and I can still feel the atmosphere even now.We had planned to check out the pool and a ton of civil defense shelters, but unfortunately, the municipal police interrupted us at the airport, so we had to run into the woods and then back to the roof of the apartment building where we started :(
Unfortunately, the entire Czech Pripyat is slowly falling into ruin; the prefab apartment buildings here will probably remain standing for some time yet, but during our visit, the buildings we had marked on our map were being demolished. It’s a shame, but if there was a real danger of them caving in or collapsing, then that’s something we have to accept. By the way, can I ask if there’s an option to ask about the location in the post? I’m still playing around with the settings, so I’d just like to double-check.
Personally, I haven't had any experiences with the police, thankfully :D But I hear they're usually understanding toward us :D Yeah, I see the option to ask for the location :) If you want, you can turn it off in the album settings :) Unfortunately, Liberec is a bit out of the way for me from Brno, otherwise I’d go right away :D
