The now dilapidated building was built in the 1960s as one of twelve reserve hospitals in case of war. It was fully equipped at the time, but no patient was ever treated there. These buildings were prepared for crisis scenarios, and had to be ready for patients within days if needed, but were kept out of the public eye.
