After a year in the same place, when it's really falling apart here.

I had the opportunity to visit Terezín again for the Lost Corners event, where places normally closed to the public are opened up. I walked through an abandoned hospital, the final resting place of Gavrilo Princip, and the huge attics and cellars of 18th-century military buildings. These buildings will only be accessible for a short time before reconstruction, so I was glad to see them again—the last time I was here was about eight years ago. At that time, we also got to see the armory, which was an absolute gem... but unfortunately, it is now closed due to its technical condition. I'm glad I captured this place right at the beginning, when it hadn't been completely ransacked yet :D Now it looks terrible, but at least it will be demolished soon, so enjoy it while you can x)

And this year, I gave myself the best gift ever. After three years, I finally conquered this urbex.🤍 But my journey to it was not easy at all. My first attempt three years ago ended in retreat—when climbing out of the first building we explored, we encountered a Caucasian dog guarding the entire property. Three more attempts from different sides? There was always something that prevented us from conquering the place: a dog, security, inaccessible roads...🐕 Until my birthday, when the tide finally turned. The dog was gone, the road was clear — just a few adrenaline-filled moments, a crazy trail, and one epic fall on the icy stairs, which left me with a bruised hand. But otherwise — TOP.

Does anyone know the game MAFIA? 🎮 Those old trucks and vans that drive through the streets in it have a lot in common with this place. ~ It started in 1888 with the Phänomen brand of bicycles and motorcycles. Later, the famous Phänomen Granit - reliable trucks that carried everything from bread to heavy machinery - rolled off the lines here. After the war, the factory was renamed Robur. From here, the robust ROBUR LO and ROBUR LD trucks, fire trucks, ambulances, military and expeditionary vehicles went all over the world. Production ended in 1991. Today, the building is silent, but the walls still bear traces of the days when engines roared and machines were built that are remembered by drivers all over the world.

The outdoor swimming pool was opened in 1966 and quickly became a popular place for sports, recreation and social life. Year after year, crowds of locals flocked here - children learned to swim, adults came to swim after work, school lessons and competitions were held here. But as the years passed, the area slowly began to lose its lustre. In 2005 it was finally closed due to its technical condition. Since then, the place has been deteriorating. The tiles are falling off, the windows are shattered, the pool bath is dry and overgrown with weeds. Yet the place has a special charm.

The Liban Quarry (Kamieniołom Liban) in Kraków is a place with a deep historical and cinematic footprint. Originally founded in 1873 by the Jewish families Liban and Ehrenpreis, it served as a limestone quarry until World War II. During the occupation, it was used by the Nazis as a labor camp where prisoners from the nearby Płaszów concentration camp were forced into hard labor. In 1993, director Steven Spielberg chose this abandoned quarry as the main location for the film Schindler's List. Based on the original plans, a replica of the Płaszów camp was built here, including 34 barracks, seven guard towers and a road paved with replicas of Jewish tombstones. This set was the only complete structure created specifically for the film.

The ship ŁOŚ-K-17, known as a Łoś-type pchacz, is an abandoned river tug anchored in the Podgórze district of Kraków, specifically in the Zabłocie harbour. This ship, built in 1977 at the Stocznia Remontowa Żeglugi Śródlugi in Kraków, measures 19.60 metres in length and 4.40 metres in width, with a draft of 0.60 metres. She is powered by a six-cylinder diesel engine type 05H6A with 200 hp, manufactured at Zakładach Mechanicznych im. M. Nowotki in Warsaw. Its maximum speed reached 10 km/h and the crew consisted of three members.

This place smells of Urbex, but it is not accessible to Urbexers. ⛔️ It has been dilapidated behind closed doors for many years and few have had the opportunity to see it from the inside.
