Founded in 1968, the clinic served as a center specializing in medical rehabilitation. It utilized modern technologies to treat orthopedic and neurological conditions through physical therapy. Because the clinic faced financial difficulties and the rehabilitation services were relocated, the building had to be closed. There were plans for the clinic’s future, but they have not yet been implemented.

This dilapidated house was supposedly owned by a veterinarian. Even though it has been ravaged by other people, there are still many personal belongings and documents here.

The house has been abandoned since around 2015; Mr. Olaf died, and it wasn’t discovered until a month later. He likely has no heirs, since no one is taking care of the house. The house is full of mold, a fallen chandelier, and many forgotten items. This house belonged to an engineer named Olaf. He reportedly used the ground floor to house people, and the rest of the house belonged to him. What struck us most was the working electric meter, despite the house’s current condition. The first floor looks strange—the floor is warped, and the ceilings are barely holding up the rest of the house. Most of the rooms are almost untouched, fully furnished with all sorts of things. Mr. Olaf was probably some kind of collector, since each room was dedicated to different things. There’s a Buddhist room, a room full of electronics, and a room full of various alcoholic beverages and vacation souvenirs.

This hotel was once a farmhouse. In the early 1920s, it was converted into a country hotel with a renowned restaurant popular with day-trippers. Due to long-standing disagreements between the owner and the tenants, the hotel ceased operations and has been falling into disrepair since 2019. The interior of both the hotel and the restaurant is still fully furnished and beautiful; it looks as if it has never been abandoned—the beds are made, and the electricity is even partially functional. Perhaps the most interesting features were the gold accents in the bathrooms—swan-shaped faucets. However, people took whatever they liked, so you won’t find those faucets here anymore.

A clinic specializing in orthopedic and oncological rehabilitation. It has been in operation since 1907, and the first spa facilities were established here in 1910. During World War II, the building served as a military hospital. In 1997, a more modern clinic was built, integrated into a single large complex covering 11 hectares. It was closed in 2023 due to high operating costs and a declining number of patients; the state of emergency and the COVID-19 pandemic also had a significant impact. Although the clinic has been closed for some time, the electricity, water, heating, and elevator are still operational. The current owner wants to convert the clinic into a hotel and spa, but the plans are still being worked out.

This house stands in the middle of a small town in Germany and was originally home to a family from abroad. There are still plenty of personal belongings here, as if the family had simply gone on vacation; the bedrooms are fully furnished, and even the children’s room is intact. The only thing that was spooky about this house was the incredible number of different dolls, which were arranged in a really strange way, almost as if they were guarding the house. Today, this place is very well-known, and that’s exactly what it looks like.

It was one of the most important power plants. A project was developed during World War II, but it was not put into operation by the end of the war. A former lignite-fired power plant built in 1937, which supplied East Germany with electricity for nearly 60 years. After its closure in the 1990s, only the monumental halls, control rooms, and traces of its industrial past remained.

We visited the former porcelain factory. There are still many industrial artifacts left here, but the vandalism is getting worse every year.

A building that once served as a venue for entertainment and nightlife now serves only as a reminder of its past. Abandoned halls, remnants of furnishings, and the atmosphere of evenings long past make it an interesting urban exploration spot. The former owner was taken into custody, where he committed suicide, and the current owner operates several casinos.

This villa was built in 1905 and, starting in 1963, served as a children’s sanatorium specializing in the treatment of kidney and urinary tract diseases. It ceased operations in 2006 and has been falling into disrepair ever since. Over the years, there have been several attempts to reopen it, but ultimately all plans remained unfulfilled. To this day, the building remains beautiful and evokes a flood of memories.

We visited this fascinating house, hidden among the trees and sheltered from today’s troubled world. The place has its own charm and hides many secrets and treasures. Now it just stands there quietly, waiting for nature to reclaim it...

This extraordinary building opened in 1909 and was one of the most modern charitable institutions in the region, providing care for the sick and infirm. Before World War II, it was one of the most important buildings in the district and was run by the Sisters of the Holy Cross. After the war, it continued to serve its purpose for a short while, but gradually began to fall into disrepair and has remained abandoned to this day. All that remains at this site are memories of the fates of defenseless people.

This extraordinary house has been nicknamed “The Japanese Woman’s House.” The nickname stems from the many Japanese items found there—various kimonos, fans, and hats—which are still present despite the house having been abandoned for several years. The house has been abandoned and falling into disrepair for over 12 years, yet much of it has been preserved to this day. The former owner reportedly ended up in prison, and the family moved abroad as a result. But no one will ever know for sure how it all happened...
