This motorway restaurant on our oldest artery was closed for a long time. Even though I knew about it and it was in top condition at the time, I didn't manage to visit it in time, which I still regret today. Anyone familiar with the place would recognize it immediately by its entrance, where newspapers from the world of motorsports were used instead of wallpaper.
And now a little history. The closure was due to a dispute with the owner of the rest area and the land under the motorway restaurant. The company only owned the building but owed money for the lease of the land. When things got tough, the motorway restaurant mysteriously burned down, and nothing has happened since.
