The villa is said to date from 1880. It belonged to a thread factory, which is no longer standing. The factory operated until the 1970s. The villa was used as council flats for a while, but probably because of its tragic reputation no one lives there. We didn't make anything of the tragic story, however we were greeted by a leaning scythe at the entrance.
