In the courtyard of the small chateau with a farmyard there is a former fortress, to which a small brewery has been attached since at least 1620. With the construction of the chateau, the fortress was converted into a larger brewery, which operated between 1761 and 1874 and was subsequently converted into a cooperative distillery. Alcohol was still being produced here in the 1930s. Thereafter, only the decline of the whole area followed, culminating in the 'care' of the agricultural cooperative and post-revolutionary restitution.
