I’m not that well-informed. I’ve only read about the cable car that used to transport coal from the mine that was supposed to supply Poldovka’s processing plant.
An absolutely magnificent piece of mining history. I'm surprised it's in such good condition, even with the old inscriptions. Is this place slated for demolition, or will they leave it as is?
It's beautiful, but unfortunately, since the site hasn't been designated a cultural monument, it will likely face nothing but rapid deterioration and eventual collapse. The graffiti was left by film crews, and just like the sets, it has no connection to the site itself.
