Hi, 23.12 I visited this hunting castle right after the abandoned mines, when I arrived at the place I found it strange that there are cabins and a swimming pool, because it is not usual in hunting castles.
Originally I went to the place to shoot a video, but because the place is well secured and 60% of the buildings are not accessible so instead of video I took some photos... so hopefully you will like the photos.

History of the castle building
The history of this castle building dates back to the second half of the 19th century, when it was built as a small hunting lodge. Its purpose was not representation or permanent housing, but mainly recreational use, staying in nature and a base for hunting activities. The building was designed as a seasonal structure, intended for short-term stays.
From an architectural point of view, the building is extremely interesting. At its core was a cast iron pavilion, purchased at the World's Fair in the 19th century. This pavilion was fitted into a brick structure after it was moved, creating an unusual whole combining traditional building materials with modern industrial elements. The use of cast iron in residential architecture was unique at the time and still makes the building technically exceptional today.
During the 19th and early 20th centuries, the building served primarily as a hunting and recreation facility. It was part of a larger farm and forest area and its interior was adapted to a purposeful, not luxurious, use.
A major turning point in the history of the building came after the Second World War. The building was confiscated by the state and gradually lost its original furnishings. In the following years, the interiors and exteriors were severely damaged and the building was effectively looted.
In the post-war period, the building was used for recreational purposes, including as a facility for children and young people. Although this kept the building temporarily in use, there was a lack of systematic maintenance and professional intervention. In the second half of the 20th century, the building was declared a cultural monument, which confirmed its historical and technical value, but did not prevent further deterioration.
After social changes at the end of the 20th century, the building passed into private ownership. Long-term lack of maintenance and vandalism led to a significant deterioration of the technical condition. In recent years, the cast iron structural elements, which were crucial to the stability of the building, have been stolen, further deteriorating its condition.
The building is currently inaccessible to the public, in poor structural and technical condition and its future is uncertain. Nevertheless, it remains a valuable example of 19th century architecture and a unique example of the use of industrial materials in castle construction.

Přesto zůstává cenným dokladem architektury 19. století a unikátním příkladem využití průmyslových materiálů v zámecké stavbě.
