Wow, what a powerful story—this is the true beauty of urban exploration: learning about the past behind it all. I don’t think I could handle going there mentally, knowing the whole story—you have my admiration for that. Otherwise, great photos, and for once they’re not taken at night :D.
Thank you, thank you :D It’s a really powerful story. That woman was a burden on everyone in the village; she’d just wander into people’s gardens at night to see what she could take. She scared me like that a few times right at my door. She and her son abused their grandmother, leaving her alone and locked up in the house for several days. There’s so much going on with that house—everyone gives it a wide berth, even though it could be a lovely little house with a big garden. It’s all about priorities :D I wouldn’t go there at night—you can barely tell what you’re stepping on, even with the lights on :D
