An abandoned, dilapidated mansion
As part of our spring outing, we stopped by this abandoned manor house along the way. Unfortunately, time, vandals, and the elements have taken a heavy toll on it, and there isn’t much left inside today. Still, the place retains its own unique atmosphere—especially for lovers of dilapidated buildings and forgotten places steeped in history.
The ceilings have collapsed in several places, so we had to be quite careful. Due to the milk chocolate consumption of some members of the group, we ultimately decided that venturing into the attic wouldn’t be the best idea, so we at least explored the first two floors. Even for a castle, though, the number of bathrooms struck me as quite above average. :)
