A place where people once served and guarded the border. Today, however, there is only silence, empty rooms, and bare walls. At first glance, not much remains of its original purpose, and the building is gradually being swallowed up by time. The interior is completely cleared out and empty, so don’t expect a lot of furnishings or well-preserved details. Instead, it has the classic urban exploration atmosphere of an abandoned building, where you can imagine what took place here decades ago. And if you’re tempted to look a little higher, more agile visitors with a ladder and a slightly better build than mine might even manage to make it up to the roof. 😄 For the average person, that’s a bit of a challenge. Otherwise, though, it’s really just bare walls, silence, and a past that’s hard to recognize today.

A place where time has stood still and nature is slowly reclaiming what once belonged to her. Yet it still retains a special charm and atmosphere that you won’t find just anywhere. Some parts are surprisingly well-preserved—honestly, some of the furniture was in better condition than what I have at home. 😅 Unfortunately, the occasional uninvited visitor has stopped by, hoping to take something with them. Despite all that, though, the place still feels incredible. And of course, +1 point to whoever came up with the corpse in the bed. 😂 That honestly made me laugh.

I heard that this former swimming pool and disco complex is gradually being demolished, so I wanted to capture it before it disappears completely.

As part of our spring outing, we stopped by this abandoned manor house along the way. Unfortunately, time, vandals, and the elements have taken a heavy toll on it, and there isn’t much left inside today. Still, the place retains its own unique atmosphere—especially for lovers of dilapidated buildings and forgotten places steeped in history. The ceilings have collapsed in several places, so we had to be quite careful. Due to the milk chocolate consumption of some members of the group, we ultimately decided that venturing into the attic wouldn’t be the best idea, so we at least explored the first two floors. Even for a castle, though, the number of bathrooms struck me as quite above average. :)

On the occasion of the "Little Night of Fashion" event, an abandoned funeral parlour in Brno cemetery was opened. As it is an important functionalist monument, it has avoided demolition and will soon be reconstructed. Unfortunately, as it happens, what could be stolen or broken has been. We thank the local mayor for the opportunity to see this monument before its reconstruction.

This 18th-century Baroque castle is certainly familiar to many people. Unfortunately, attempts to reconstruct it have failed and today it is just falling into disrepair. Fortunately, however, it is still spared from the visits of various vandals. The once meticulously maintained castle garden has now been taken back by nature, but even today you can still spot the original path or the original decorative trees.

Today we walked through a piece of abandoned military space. Unfortunately, it's been abandoned for a long time and there's not much of interest left except empty buildings. What little is left has been stolen by metal collectors anyway. The building is quite large, we will definitely visit here again and walk through the rest :)

Considering the state of the vegetation around the property, the no trespassing order is taken very seriously!
