A long-ago demolished heating plant that stuck in my mind for one thing. I've never seen such a layer of pigeons anywhere... How can I put this? The interiors looked like a city hit by a volcanic eruption, covered in a continuous layer of baked, grey-black volcanic ash, tens of centimetres thick. That's why the pictures are from the outside.
