South Bohemian Region, Český Krumlov District,

The Blue House was built at the turn of the 1860s and 1870s as a seasonal residence for Terezie Buquoyová. It was damaged by flooding in 1936 and has been falling into disrepair ever since.
The Classicist house was built in 1803, although an older building probably stood on the site before that. Today's ruin was once an elegant building measuring 15x12 m with a shingle roof, whose later blue paint gave the building its name.
