Technologické Centrum č.4 Prahy 8
The Centre of Technology n.4 began construction in 1986 and eventually ceased in 2007 due to budget limits. In 2024, I entered for the first time. The current state of the building is best described as flooded. Many rooms (especially those which require a ladder to enter) are fully or partially submerged. The stair room (the reason for the existence of which I have not been able to figure out) has a fully flooded room with still water at the bottom, with a continuous flow of water inside. The stair room (the reason for the existence of which I have not been able to figure out) has a fully flooded room with still water at the bottom, with a continuous flow of water inside. And the main object's lower floors have an approximately 10cm layer of water. I had to tape plastic bags onto mine and my friend's shoes to navigate through. Inside the water, there are forms of life. Such as lizards, larvae, algae, grass, and other bacterial life. Whereas outside of the water, the life I’ve seen were colonies of mosquitoes and spiders as well as a stray black cat, which seems to dislike the presence of people and tends to run away from everyone; and then hives of pigeons - the pigeons get startled quite easily and produce sounds that are easy to misinterpret as other signs of human life. On the other side, all of the site that I have explored is stable and structurally not dangerous.
But I still do advise severe forms of caution, as was told to me by a police officer:
"Nedávno zde upadl třináctiletý kluk a byl hospitalizován."
As there are many rusty nails in the surface and sub-surface areas, which pose a risk of tripping over.
Possible dangers are:
impalement
still water
falling off great heights
cuts
unstable rusty metal structure
The metro B part is inaccessible as of late 2024, as there are concrete plates placed on the tunnel inside. These concrete plates I estimate to weigh around half a metric tonne to possibly two metric tonnes each.
Inside of the aforementioned rusty stair tunnel, drops of water can be heard, mimicking singing female voices. as well as plastic tubes falling, which may sound like male yells. This may lead to paranoia and hallucinations. I advise to not enter without mental preparation.
