The building originally served as a luxury hotel with a café, restaurant, and ballroom. Due to its appearance, it was often referred to as a castle. The building was constructed between 1904 and 1905. It has been abandoned since 2006. Caution: the floors and roof are severely collapsed; I didn’t dare go any further than the first floor myself.
