Remember when it was still common to go to a summer cinema? My friend's grandfather worked as a projectionist in one of the Cheb cinemas and in summer he always screened in the summer theatre opposite the the theatre. But he hasn't shown this rather grandiose one from the 60s for 13 years. The electricity was in disrepair, the stage too, the toilets were in disrepair.... so the cinema was closed because reconstruction would be expensive and in addition the cinema would have to be digitized and that would be even more expensive.
