The history of this limestone quarry with sunny photos was nicely presented here by Snejkys_urbex. During our visit, the weather rather painted the gloomy history of the quarry, on the edge of which stood the ruins of a powder house with the fence posts of the adjacent concentration camp, reminiscent of a giant monument. The one in Spielberg's film, located at the bottom of the quarry, resembled a driveway paved with Jewish tombstones with the remains of a double fence, gates, or the foundations of camp barracks.
