Hey. Hey,
On December 5th, I went to a very well-known abandoned motor inn. This was my sixth time visiting this place, but it still managed to surprise me. The condition of the whole building has deteriorated significantly in that time and nowadays it can be said without exaggeration that it is in a state of disrepair.

Personally, I feel that if nothing changes, the entire second floor will collapse by the summer of 2026.
History
The Motor Inn was built at a time when road transport was booming and facilities like this were an important part of travel. It primarily served drivers, transit riders and local residents as a place to rest, refresh and meet. In the early years it was very popular - offering hot meals, drinks and facilities for longer stops on the road.
During its heyday, it was one of the most popular establishments of its kind. People associated it with the typical roadside restaurant atmosphere, honest cuisine, large portions and often round-the-clock operation. It also functioned as an unofficial landmark and meeting place for professional drivers.
Over time, however, it began to lose relevance. Changes in the transport infrastructure, the rerouting of major routes and road upgrades caused a significant decline in visitors. With fewer visitors came economic problems, which led to a reduction in traffic and eventually to its complete closure.
After the closure, the building gradually fell into disrepair. Without use and maintenance, it became a symbol of a vanished era of road travel. Today it acts more as a silent reminder of a time when motor inns played an important role in the daily lives of drivers and passengers alike, and a warning of how quickly a once vibrant place can disappear.

Ahoj,
Historie
Lidé si jej spojovali s typickou atmosférou silničních restaurací, poctivou kuchyní, velkými porcemi a často i nepřetržitým provozem.
